If you’re looking for a fairly inexpensive way to cut your own lumber and end up with good quality dimensional lumber, look no further. It’s by no means a quick process but with a little work, an ATV, an ATV logging arch and an Alaskan Mill you can cut logs like the ones in the photo and end up with lumber as shown in the photos.

I made a recent post regarding the logging arch made by Norwood Industries for ATV’s and thought I would update that post with this recent video of my experience using it. This piece of equipment is easy to use, gets the job done and allows you to get into places that normally would require cutting trails for a tractor or a skidder.
